Reprinting Written Works
Some of the articles or other written materials showcased on this site may be available for reprint on the web or in printed form. Whether or not you may reprint my work depends entirely on my personal permission and my previous contract with the original publication (if any) where the desired work had been published. In most cases, I will expect payment for any materials you reprint whether or not you have received my written or verbal permission. If you would like to reprint written material found on my site, please contact me to tell me what you would like to reprint, where you want my work to appear (name of printed publication, website, et cetera), and any other pertinent information you feel I should know.
You may link to or cite any of my works without asking for my permission or granting me payment. If citing any of my works, all I ask is that your citation conforms to any standard and recognized style manual. Payment will be expected for any works reproduced in full on the web or in print, even with proper citation or a link to the original source.
Non-Profit Organizations and Independent Small Press
Should you wish to publish my work in an independent small press publication (i.e. literary journal or zine) or other not-for-profit publication, I may decide to waive payment depending on the purpose of your publication. If I feel that your organization can afford some form of monetary compensation, I am willing to negotiate rates below the standard scale of pay. Unless your organization falls under what I define as an independently operated small press publication, it must be a registered non-profit organization and you will be expected to provide verifiable proof of this status.
